Glad to see you guys drinking Victory Beer. An old buddy, and huge Irish fan, is their assistant brewmaster in Downingtown, PA (a western suburb of Philly). We here love Victory, try their Hop Wollop or Prima Pils, but thanks for giving them their due. Go Irish!!! I’m part of the Mobile Dome crew (shortbus with the Virgin Mary on top). We have been banished from the JACC lot, but come by the bus lot, just south of the JACC and there is always plenty of Victory beer and Evil Burgers for all to enjoy. GO IRISH!

I want this one so bad that it actually hurts….Can you believe that? Im a grown man. I never even attended Notre Dame. These are 18 year old kids, who could give a rats azz if I care or not. Yet tonight, I will not rest. My mind will not quiet down. Its there. Like a hammer and nail banging in my head….”Will the Defense step up?”, “will Charlie coach the game of his life?”, ‘Can Jimbo step up to the Heisman podium”…the questions are endless. The what ifs can go onto infinity. I’ve been barely able to function this week. All I’ve been thinking is about ND/USC….I need to make the voices stop…..Notre Dame, please, please win this one for me……

Good episode guys.
One comment though.
I believe the fact that the series has been lopsided as of late hasn’t diminished this rivalry at all. For a lot of ND fans especially it has fanned the flames of hatred even more, making it an even bigger rivalry. As any intelligent ND fan knew when we had the run of 12-0-1 against Southern Cal, it couldn’t last forever. I’m sure the few intelligent USC fans out there are aware of that fact too. Let’s hope for you and me this small streak of losses ends now so that order can be restored.

Guys I got another movie reference for you, Rudy of course. In the beginning when his family is sitting in front of the TV and Rudy announces that he someday will play football for the Irish, they are watching the Notre Dame-USC game.
