Guys,

How pathetic is the tackling?? What is even more pathetic is that I saw guys watching and not playing til the whistle blows. It is also irritating to see guys running around with their heads cut off prior to the snap.

We are on the verge of 8-4 or 7-5 as long as the D plays like it has(between the 20's).

Harrison Smith....you are killing me Smalls.

Why are they teaching our DB's to not turn and look for the ball??

Anything but Green, we have lost more green jersey games than won. It worked in '77 because it was such a huge surprise.

Also - regarding Pole 13 - why a black out? Why not honor Our Lady and make it a Blue out? I am thinking the way the season is playing out Our Lady may be feeling a bit slighted here...

I think you guys are playing the odds at this point calling for another close game. In addition - you are giving Weis way too much latitude - Should this game against Washington be close - which it could, no debating that, however you end up failing to address some real glaring issues on both offense and defense. Conservative play calling has helped put us in these close games. I totally disagree that Weis prepared properly with the two QB rotation. While he did design two separate offenses for Clausen and Crist - he really needed to cut Crist loose. The conservative play calling, that Crist did execute well, should definitely been mixed w/ some misdirection and high percentage passes which would have given the kid confidence and prepared him more should CLausen totally go out AND allowed for keeping CLausen on the sidelines during the Purdue game giving him a leg up for Washington and beyond. It was only a matter of time that Purdue adjusted to the pretty much run only attack.

Defense remains an issue especially on pass defense - tackling is key and I am convinced Eric should have been able to expand on this a bit more - Sprout - dude you're hogging. Overall good observations but dont get soft on us! GO IRISH!

@Jersey: That may go down as one of the best posts we've ever had. Well done. We should have figured out a way to work pterodactyl into the Coaches' Poll, our bad.

@nepachris: We were in section 105 I think, maybe 106, about the 35 yard line. Chances are good we'll be at the Pitt game. Keep watching, we usually let people know if we are going to the game on the show before hand.

@ND du Lac: I agree on Toby Gerhart, that's why I'm glad we play them last, hopefully he'll be worn down by then.

where the phudge were you guys sitting? i didn't realize you guys were going cause i missed the last show. bummer. kyle caught the game winner right in front of me! totally understand the posers, we had like 10 sitting behind us at the start of the game, and none after the catch. gotta give props to dayne for placing the purdue linebacker on his ass on golden's touchdown. he's going to be phenominal...p's are contagious. you guys going to the pitt game?

I'll say this about Toby Gerhart - the kid is good. Don't underestimate him. (But I hate Stanford - so I vote for beating him and the rest of the trees when the time comes.)
