Due to some editing, some of our thank you’s got cut out…but thanks again to Shaun and Connor for the Sweetwater, Chuck and all the Pole 13 gang for their hospitality, Joe and Rob, Kmart and all the others who stopped by the tailgate.

Like you guys said…..I wanted to see the offensive line dominate a little more, but they did convert those 3rd downs that made me cross my fingers a lot last year. At the same time I did see some wide holes created by the offensive line, and I had a pretty good vantage point from the stands. Holes you didn’t see a whole lot of last year. I look for them to get a lot better as the year goes on.

I will stop by and say hello next time I’m down there.

    Great show!

Great show fellas. I lost you during some of the coaches poll, but just a reason I’ll have to add Resurrection to the required reading list.

Sprout, great running into you at the tailgate. Thanks again for the beers and hospitality. Eric, we’ll have to make it official next time. Let me know your plan for Saturday.

Also a special thank you to Chuck and the Pole 13 family. My sister and I had an excellent time swinging by your rather illustrious tailgate. I know my family will make sure to stop by and say hello at any future ND games.

GO IRISH! BEAT WOLVERINES! F*#K Michigan!

You’re not going to talk about “Steel Bars” at ND?

JG on September 9th, 2009 at 12:22 pm

Great show guys, look forward to it every week.
    Go IRISH beat wolverines

Wish me luck guys, I’m heading off to the “Sh*t House” this weekend to see the game. I wish I had a App. State jersey…I would so get my a$$ kicked.

Thought about making up a shirt that read “Taint a Forcier”, but I didn’t have enough time.

If anyone else is going up there…give out a shout on here.

Regarding the pep rallies mentioned in Resurrection, I was fortunate enough to be there. I was a freshman in ‘64 – same year as Ara. You had to be there to know what Mr. Dent is talking about. There is no way to explain the crush of students in the old Field House, no way to explain the noise, and the pyramids that you mentioned. One of the most memorable is when the team returned from the awful defeat at USC on Thanksgiving weekend. With the reception the team received, you would have thought they had just won the National Championship! GO IRISH!

Can I buy one of those Rise and Shine shirts?! Please tell me I can get one!

I told you guys that Pistol was really more of a pea-shooter didn’t I? Prediction: ND 35 – Mich 7. Their 1’s might score once against our 2’s in junk time after the game is already well in hand. Agree with you that Manti has his coming out party against the skunk bears. He is quick, strong and angry and I too would s#*t a brick if he was running in my direction.

Clutch, I’ll be there. I’m driving from Indy to Angola on Friday, making the rest of the trip Saturday morning. I usually park along Main Street somewhere. I’ll be stuck tailgating with Michigan fans (former classmates) unless someone drafts me. Someone…please draft me. :)

    Go Irish. F*#k Michigan.

Kinda got bored with the spoiler that was the coaches poll. No need to read it now thanks to you guys. Anyway, Michigan is gonna get creamed in their own yard. Irish cruise 45-13

trey on September 10th, 2009 at 2:48 pm

Dager…I’ll be in the Pioneer High School parking lot, probably as close to the stadium as we can within that lot as we’ll be getting there around 10am. I’ll be sporting a Subway Alumni shirt and will have ND cornhole boards and a black SUV. Feel free to swing by…I’ll be the only ND fan in the group we’re going with as well.

Bad week to live in Michigan as I have to put up with all the little M flags, shirts, hats, Depends, etc. etc.. It will be even worse if things don’t go well this weekend in Ann Arbor, could be on suicide watch. But after the game Golden had last year against Michigan, and with Big Blow having a weak secondary I hope Jimmy is on and he has a duplicate of last weeks performance. Go Irish.

@Trey: We didn’t spoil anything trust me…it’s definitely worth the read if you’re a fan of ND Football History. The book is full of interesting incites that I personally didn’t ever know about ND Football. And it’s got 8 pages of photos, that’s what sold me.

@Clutch/Dager/K-zoo/(anyone else who’s traveling to the unholy land): Give ‘em hell.

    Is it Saturday yet?

Eric on September 11th, 2009 at 9:49 am

Hey, how do I get one of those awesome Pangsters shirts? Those were pretty sweet. And, as always, great show.

Joe on September 11th, 2009 at 10:49 am

A couple people have asked about the Pangsta shirts. I’ll shoot an email to the girl who made them and see if she has any left. They might only have made enough based on initial requests. Will let you know.

Sprout on September 11th, 2009 at 10:55 am

Nice finally getting to meet up with you Sprout. Definitely a good opening weekend on all accounts. And I’m more excited than a 6 year old on Christmas morning to see Manti decapitate some wolverines tomorrow.

    Go Irish! F#@k Michigan!

    JSerey13 on September 11th, 2009 at 12:03 pm

Any size Pangsta shirt has got to be bigger than the XL Subway Alumni shirt.

Thanks god it’s going to be warm tomorrow at the game. Anything below 60 degrees and my nips would rip holes through the damn thing.

Hey SA guys…any 2XL’s this year?

Clutch on September 11th, 2009 at 12:37 pm

Another great show guys! Keep up the good work. Can’t wait to see Manti bring on the violence. Fuck Michigan. Go Irish!
